Hello, my name is Savino Longo and welcome to the newest way to communicate between other AFRC bases about certain topics. If you have a question, an idea, or a certain topic you would like to discuss with everyone, this is the place for quick and easy replies!
WHAT IS A BLOG?
This forum is called a BLOG, which is different from an online discussion board. A blog is a journal that is available on the web. Someone who maintains the blog site is a "blogger." Postings on a blog are usually arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominently.
Blogs are an easy way to get your message out there to many people that visit the site.
WHAT SERVICES WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS SITE?
Everyone will benefit, because you are the people who choose what you want to express on the site. Any replies to topics are posted by you. There will be different topics for most services branches such as Lodging, Fitness, and IT&T to just name a few.
Any question you post as a TOPIC will be viewed by all visitors and surely someone from another base will assist you with your question by posting a reply.
THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO BRAINSTORM IDEAS ACROSS ALL THE BASES FROM OUR DESKS!!!
This blog will contain a section of various sites that managers could use for information (links to amusement parks, resorts, food/beverage, other base sites). If anyone has a link to a site that they would like to add, please contact me at savino.longo@niagarafalls.af.mil.
HOW DO I POST A NEW TOPIC?
Unfortunately, a person cannot post a new topic from their computer. If there is a topic you would like to begin (ex. How can I build my travel program?) you would have to send me an email with the TITLE of the topic and your ENTRY MESSAGE that you would like published. I would then copy and paste your new topic into the site for you.
HOW DO I POST A REPLY TO A TOPIC?
If there is a topic posted that you would like to reply to, following each topic you can post a reply by simply clicking on "post your comment" located at the bottom of each entry under that topic.
